Fourteen sports across ten days, from the trail run on day one to the relay finals on 23 January.
Ten days, 14 sports, 48 medal events and a celebration every evening. The full programme for the Winter World Masters Games 2028 is now live, day by day from 14 to 23 January 2028.
The Games run across ten venues in five locations. Lahti carries most of it: cross-country, biathlon, ski jumping and Nordic combined at Lahti Sports Center, figure and synchronised skating at Wemasto Areena and RTK Arena, short track at RTK Arena, long track at Kisapuisto, unique outdoor park, and the winter trail run on the Salpausselkä UNESCO Global Geopark trails.
Ice hockey is played in Vierumäki, with the finals in Heinola. Heinola also hosts winter disc golf, and Pajulahti hosts curling and winter swimming. Alpine skiing has its own week in Levi.
Pick your sport and your city, and the programme shows only your week.
It all starts with the Opening Ceremony at Lahti Sports Center on Friday 14 January, where you march in with your decade. The first medals follow on Saturday. Every evening ends at the Winner’s Celebration in Lahti, and Levi has its own celebrations in the village. The last day closes with the Farewell Party.
